Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) shutout Monaco 2-0 to win the 2021 French Cup — Coupe de France — late Wednesday.
PSG drew first blood in minute 19 from Argentine striker Mauro Icardi in the final at Stade de France, Saint-Denis in Paris’ north.
The club clinched the 2-0 victory near the end of the match when French star Kylian Mbappe scored an insurance goal.
PSG has now claimed their 14th French Cup in the tournament.
Olympique Marseille has won the cup 10 times.
