Speaking at the 75th General Assembly of TOBB, President Erdogan said: Turkey will flourish in line with the principles of free market economy. We will of course not consent to monopolization or to the exploitation of workers, producers or consumers; yet, each step we take will be in line with free market rules.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech at the 75th General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in Ankara.

We know pretty well that political, geostrategic and economic opportunities lie ahead of Turkey, which countries can obtain only once in a century, President Erdogan said, and underscored: That's why we endeavor day and night.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO FRUSTRATE SCAREMONGERS

All indicators point to an upward trend in economy, President Erdogan underlined. The sanction threats clearly show that those circles, which have an ontological problem with Turkey, will not sit idly by. However, we have figured out their schemes and learned to take measures against them. The codes have been deciphered. From now on, it will not be easy for damaging fluctuations to occur.

Turkey will flourish in line with the principles of free market economy, President Erdogan said. We will of course not consent to monopolization or to the exploitation of workers, producers or consumers; yet, each step we take will be in line with free market rules. We don't have even the slightest doubt that the way to Turkey's prosperity is through the strengthening of the private sector. Therefore, we will focus on structural reforms and continue to frustrate the scaremongers.
