Those to attend May 1 Labor Day demonstration in Maltepe has departed. The participants will come to the area from three sides.

The stage where the speeches will be made was prepared yesterday (April 30).

The demonstration area has been closed with police barriers.

The participants will be allowed to enter the area through security check points.

Marches will start at 12 and the meeting at 1 p.m.

Governorship rejected application for Taksim

Labor and occupational organizations declared that May 1 Labor Day will be celebrated at the meeting area in Maltepe, İstanbul.

In the statement it was expressed that an application was submitted to İstanbul Governorship for the celebrations to be held at Taksim square but it was rejected by the governorship.
