Jreissati after Bloc of Reform and Change meeting: Compromises over constitutional rights unacceptable

NNA – Former Minister Salim Jreissati said, “If the performances stood in the same condition in tomorrow’s parliamentary sessions devoted to elect a president, suspending the national pact would not take place without a reaction,” adding that any compromises over constitutional and legal rights “are unacceptable and will never occur.”

Jreissati’s stance came Tuesday in the context of the regular weekly meeting for the Bloc of Reform and Change in Rabieh.

Jreissati said, “We will give a word after tomorrow and the permissible talks for General Michel Aoun, who is still patient regarding the national pact, have their own time to be revealed out.”
