NNA – Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the two Lebanese Army soldiers killed in a gunfight with outlaws in Maameltein, north of Beirut, yesterday.
He said on Twitter that 1rst Sgt. Maroun Khoury and Pvt. Michel Rahbawi “are martyrs on the path to defend the law and the dignity of the State”.
Hariri added that “outlaws benefit from the chaos of weapons spread and the efforts to weaken the tools of the State”.
He said that “the Army and the security forces valiantly address the dens of chaos and destruction, and they have all our support”.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the families “of the two heroic martyrs who sacrificed their souls for Lebanon and the dignity of the Lebanese”.
