First Lady Emine Erdogan inaugurated workshops built by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), in Mjedenica Institute for Special Education and Care of Children in Sarajevo.
Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, First Lady Erdogan said: The strong ties between us gives us the desire to share, as well. The experience-sharing program in special education is a product of this strong desire. I believe, through mutual benefit, we will further consolidate our friendship.
EDUCATION IS THE MOST LASTING INVESTMENT
Highlighting the intense efforts for individual with special needs in Turkey, First Lady Erdogan said: We are seeking ways to include our special people in social life. We are opening up employment areas for them. We believe the most lasting investment is education. In this spirit, we work to carry our experience to all friendly countries from Africa to the Balkans.
First Lady Erdogan was accompanied by Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council Member Sefik Dzaferovic's wife Vildana Dzaferovic.
Following the ceremony, Mrs. Erdogan met with the mothers of Srebrenica.
