Chinchinian: Lebanese Forces won't present anymore concessions

NNA – “Lebanese Forces” parliamentary bloc member Deputy Chant Chinchinian said on Tuesday that the Lebanese Forces agreed not to have a major ministerial portfolio to ease the cabinet formation, confirming that the Lebanese Forces would not present anymore concessions.

The MP pointed out that the Lebanese Forces step should be taken into consideration in order to ease the cabinet formation, urging all political forces to seek to secure the birth of a new cabinet.

Chinchinian told “Al-Fajr” radio station that the cabinet formation process is so far maintaining a status quo which reflects negatively on the constitutional institutions and the Lebanese economy.

“Those who are disrupting the formation of a new cabinet are putting their hands on the major ministerial portfolios not taking into consideration the rotation principle (…) and contribute in the return to the 60’s election law,” concluded.
