Bodies of Lebanese who drowned off Turkey to be repatriated as of tomorrow, says Foreign Ministry

NNA – The bodies of three Lebanese who were found along Turkish shores last week should be repatriated as of tomorrow, a statement by the Lebanese Foreign Ministry indicated on Monday.

“The Embassy of Lebanon in Ankara is cooperating with the General Consulate in Istanbul to follow up on the issue of the Lebanese who drowned off Turkish shores. They are: Hussein Hassan Ahmad, Chanel Jean Fares, and Mohammad Hussein Khashab,” the statement read.

According to the statement, the body of Hussein Hassan Ahmad will be repatriated tomorrow Tuesday, whereas it shall arrive in Beirut at dawn. That of Chanel Jean Fares will land tomorrow afternoon, while that of Mohammad Hussein Khashab is still pending the completion of formalities; it is expected to return home within the next couple of days.
All three will be transferred aboard planes belonging to Turkish Airlines.
