Addressing citizens in Gaziantep, President Erdogan, referring to the armed attack on Muslims in New Zealand, said: As Muslims, we will never bow down, and yet we will never stoop to these villains' level, either. We will take the same principled stance against the killing of any innocent person, regardless of their root, belief or disposition. Whichever sensitivity we display against the massacres of innocent Muslims in New Zealand, Palestine or Myanmar, we will approach other people in the same vein, too.

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke during a campaign rally in the province of Gaziantep in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD WITH OUR SAGACITY THAT TAKES ITS STRENGTH FROM FAITH AND CONSCIENCE

Touching upon the armed attack on Muslims who convened to perform the Friday prayer in New Zealand, President Erdogan wished Allah's mercy upon the 49 Muslim martyrs and offered his condolences to the entire Muslim world, and added: As Muslims, we will never bow down, and yet we will never stoop to these villains' level, either. We will take the same principled stance against the killing of any innocent person, regardless of their root, belief or disposition. Whichever sensitivity we display against the massacres of innocent Muslims in New Zealand, Palestine or Myanmar, we will approach other people in the same vein, too. We will change the world with our sagacity that takes its strength not from oppression and exploitation but from faith, conscience and morals, because Islam requires this, humanity requires this.

OUR NEARLY 10 THOUSAND PALESTINIAN BROTHERS ARE IMPRISONED IN ISRAELI PRISONS

Also mentioning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son's remarks on social media about Istanbul being a Christian city and faced with Turkish occupation, President Erdogan, addressing Prime Minister Netanyahu's son, said: You have occupied the entire Palestine. Where were you in 1938 and 1948? And where are you now? Where were our Palestinian brothers then? And where are they now? You have occupied, and you have always forced them to leave. The President continued: As I recently said, they have imprisoned our nearly 10 thousand Palestinian brothers and sisters, from 7-year-old children to women and elderly people, in Israeli prisons, and these people are still imprisoned there. That is why I say Netanyahu is an oppressor. President Erdogan further said if there is an oppressive country and a terror state in the world, it is Israel, and that they will continue to tell the truths even if it disturbs some circles.
