Russia expands list of goods for parallel import with 11 car brands: Media

Russia on Monday expanded the list of goods for parallel import with 11 car brands, according to the country's state-run news agency.

"The Ministry of Industry made changes according to the results of the meeting on December 26 and the list of brands received from us. It pertains to brands of unfriendly countries," a letter by the ministry to the Russian Automobile Dealers Association said, TASS reported.

According to the report, the car brands included in the list are Citroen, Isuzu, Mazda, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, and Dacia.

In March 2022, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree allowing the import of foreign-made goods into the country without the consent of the copyright holders, in response to sanctions imposed due to the Moscow-Kyiv war.
