Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed: "The port of Al-Faw is an existing project, not an idea, and the level of implementation is taking place according to plan."

Al-Sudani said in a press conference: "We aim to create partnerships with countries in the region to achieve stability and benefit."

He added: "The development road project begins with the port of Faw, then it will be followed by an industrial city, which is the largest in the Middle East."
