Cyprus President's Special Advisor for Crisis Management and Civil Protection issues, Giorgos Boustras, will participate in a High-Level Meeting on the Midterm Review of the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 organized by the UNDRR, that will take place on May 18-19 in New York. A press release issued by the Presidency said that Boustras will also attend an event organized by Cyprus' Permanent Representation at the UN, in the framework of the UNDRR Meeting, in cooperation with the Permanent Representations of Israel and the US and with the Union for the Mediterranean on May 18, entitled "Regional Cooperation - Strengthening national readiness."
